As the campaign hots up and we enter the final few weeks, it hasn't been quiet for the UKIP Scotland Team.
On Wednesday 13th April it was confirmed the official EU referendum campaign designation has by an extremely narrow margin been awarded to the Vote Leave group and our UKIP NEC has voted to support it. Read the statement from Nigel Farage here:
UKIP's Scottish Parliamentary election campaigning is gathering apace with our roadside billboards now appearing Scotland wide, in addition we are also rolling out a series of external adverts on buses so keep a look out for them.
David Coburn MEP, Leader UKIP Scotland, has had another busy week of media rounds including print interviews with Reuters and The Times.
David also undertook a televised interview with Bernard Ponsonby of STV where some rather odd questions about minute details were asked to which quite frankly no party leader would possibly have had the answers to hand and should more appropriately been asked of the manifesto researchers.
Ever up for a challenge our MEP staff team backstage in the STV green room actually posted and tweeted out the required reference source links whilst the show was on air.
Coburn and Farage walk the red line for UKIP (The Times) is available on David Coburn's blog.

Finally the week's highlight simply has to be David Coburn MEP's participation in a series of party leader sketch interviews with Greg McHugh as the BBC's BAFTA award winning comedy character Gary Tank Commander. This will be broadcast on a variety of BBC online platforms very soon and will have you rolling in the aisles with laughter.
This week coming, we have candidates attending hustings all over the country, and we will of course be bringing you all the media we can!
Here's to getting UKIP into Holyrood and Britain out of the EU.
