Donald Mackay: 25 years of service

This year UKIP celebrates it's 25th anniversary. To honor those who joined the Party in 1993 and to show our gratitude for 25 years of loyal service they were presented with a silver anniversary medal. Among those receiving the silver anniversary medals was UKIP  Scotland's Donald Mackay.

Donald Mackay is a founding member of UKIP Scotland and was involved in organising UKIP's first election campaign in Scotland. In 1995 UKIP stood in the Perth & Kinross by-election taking 504 votes. Since then Donald has represented UKIP in every major election as a candidate and has been invaluable in the creation of UKIP Scotland's campaigns.

Donald currently sits on the UKIP Scotland Committee as treasurer and is chairman of his local branch, Central Scotland. Donald has recently been elected to the NEC where he will use his 25 years of experience to lead UKIP into the future.

Thanks for your hard work over the last 25 years and we look forward to the next 25.

Otto Inglis: Gold medal

Otto is a long standing member of UKIP and has chaired the Edinburgh branch for many years. He frequently gets his letters in the Scottish press. This gold medal is to say thank you and keep up the good work.

Andrew Tait: Gold medal

Andrew has walked more miles than anyone in UKIP Scotland delivering leaflets and organising street stalls. Andrew's planning and co-ordination of campaigns is second to none. Thank you Andrew and keep up the good work.
